Personal Fitness Instructor-Volunteer Boy Scouts of America-MA

Our goal was to support the scouts in getting their merit badges by achievement. I looked to motivate them and was sure to exemplify different ways of working out. I did this for 8 years while my boys were in Scouts as a give-back to the organization.
I enjoyed working with the Scouts and it is my heartfelt opinion that kids should be physically active and schools should have gym every day for everyone. Love & good vibes, LANE

The SuperHero in my life.

The most prominent health mentor in my life is my Grandma, Flo.
She would say to anyone who asked “why she looks so young for her age”?
“I tell them I keep active and I eat right”.
She cooked almost all the time. We lived in Brooklyn New York. She would go to the store for her younger girlfriends which were nearly bedridden. She had the cleanest house because sweeping and mopping was exercise to her. She created a loving environment for herself by sharing the wonderful homemade Italian food she cooked, sharing with her family, friends and neighbors.
My Grandma Flo had the most effect on me in ‘my love of cooking”. She would do a 13 course Sunday Dinner every week, out of her love for the company of her family, friends and neighbors.
Love & good vibes, LANE

A bit about me, LANE

I developed my physique early on in Brooklyn. I saw one of my nerdy friends (we were all nerds) build up his body and followed suit. We were still nerds but we weren't picked on any more. Bullies tend to leave the middle ground guys alone. Brooklyn was rough during these times. How I loved those doggies! Love & good vibes, LANE
